Step 1 – Thought: The first rule of the ‘12 rules of the mind’ is “all things begin in thought.” This is also the first step in the hypnotic formula, which is a four step process culminating in self-hypnosis, and it makes perfect sense. Self-hypnosis is nothing more than a method of meditation or a hypnotic technique used for meditating. Nothing in the physical world manifests if not for first having been formulated as a thought in the process of self-hypnosis. Our thoughts are words strung together to form an image in our mind that becomes a focal point in the self-hypnosis technique. The human mind sees not in words or numbers, but in images.
